You will be managing multiple email accounts to book podcasters in as guests on other shows. You'll spend most of your time responding to and liasing with respondents, to secure a booking on the respondent's podcast for our clients (who are also podcasters).
You'll be paid a base salary + commission for hitting KPIs.
Mission For Inbox Manager:
To convert replies from cold email campaigns to booked podcast interviews by:
1) Handling new email replies ASAP
2) Following up relentlessly and creatively
3) Manually book calls via Calendly
4) Frequently reviewing training resources
Competencies:
- Drive & Work Ethic
- This is a very competitive role. Your effectiveness in this role will be determined by results. Many times, results don’t come until many follow ups later, and most don’t have the drive or work ethic to follow up that often.
- Proactive
- Wherever you are in relation to your expectations, you must know why. If you’re ahead, you must know what you’re doing well and what needs to be reinforced. If you’re behind, you must have the awareness to know WHY you're behind.
- Think On Your Feet
- This is not a job where you will simply be handed templates. You will be expected to learn the ins and outs of both your clients' offers and USPs as well as the art of response handling, all while being on the clock!
- Thick Skin
- Not everyone will be happy to receive a cold email or a bunch of follow up messages, and so you can expect to deal with some negativity from prospects. Understanding this is part of the game and is a necessary evil to getting through to the prospects we can positively impact will help you.
- Creative
- This role is all about being creative and innovative in both your messaging and strategies. You are encouraged to test new things consistently. The more creative you are, the more likely you are to get the expected results.
- Attention To Detail
- You will be tasked with staying up to date with your CRM activities. This is secondary to HITTING your numbers, but still important.
- Speed (but without sacrificing quality)
- It is very difficult to capture people's attention these days. It is important that as soon as someone responds to our emails, we respond back as quickly as possible. Although this won’t always be possible, it’s a good goal to set so we’re always getting back to prospects while we still have their attention.
- Research
- Taking a few minutes to look into the prospects you’re responding to, or learning more about the client you’re responding on behalf of, will go a long way.
- Organization
- Inbox management is not always “clean” and it requires consistent maintenance and clean ups. Being organized will ensure you don’t let any opportunities slip through the cracks and you’ll be most efficient.
