Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated GIS Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining GIS applications and tools to support various business and analytical needs. This role requires proficiency in GIS technologies, spatial databases, and web-based mapping solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain GIS applications and solutions.
Manage and optimize spatial databases, including PostGIS and SQL Server.
Create and enhance interactive web mapping applications using Leaflet, OpenLayers, or ArcGIS APIs.
Automate geospatial workflows using Python, JavaScript, and other scripting languages.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to identify and address geospatial challenges.
Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and security in GIS systems.

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in GIS application development.
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and GIS libraries (GDAL, Geopandas, ArcPy).
Experience with PostGIS, SQL, and spatial databases.
Familiarity with web GIS frameworks (Leaflet, OpenLayers, ArcGIS API for JavaScript).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for geospatial applications.
Knowledge of machine learning applications in GIS.
Familiarity with QGIS, GeoServer, or Mapbox.
Experience working with large-scale spatial datasets.
