Software Architect

This is a 6- month iniitative to design and deliver a modular, AWS- Based case management system tailored to emergency disaster management workflows. Inspired by resilience and agility, the system will enable disaster preparedness, response, and recovery with compliance and user - centric design at its core.

We are seeking an expereinced Software Architect to lead the technical architecture of this system, ensure best practices in CI/CD, security, and infrastructure, and collaborate with cross- functional team in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities:

-Design the overall technical architecture for a scalable, secure, and modular AWS cloud-based case management platform.
-De?ne and oversee the development of the MVP work?ow, focusing on 1–2 user roles.
-Lead implementation of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and secure development practices.
-Guide the setup of Staging and UAT environments.
-Collaborate with the UI/UX Designer and Business Analyst to ensure technical solutions align with user needs and business goals.
-Develop and maintain security models and policies aligned with compliance requirements.
-Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
-Provide technical leadership to developers and ensure coding standards and architecture guidelines are followed.

Required Skills and Experience:

-Proven experience as a Software Architect in cloud-native application development (preferably AWS).
-Deep knowledge of microservices architecture, REST APIs, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure automation.
-Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
-Strong understanding of application security, data privacy, and compliance frameworks.
-Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Con?uence, Git).
-Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience in disaster recovery, emergency management, or public sector projects.
-Familiarity with Bullhorn or other enterprise case management systems.
-Certi?cations: AWS Certi?ed Solutions Architect, Certi?ed Scrum Professional
-(CSP), etc.
