Accounting and Reporting Manager Ecommerce Industry

We are seeking an experienced Accounting and Reporting manager as a full-time team member to complete financial reporting and bookkeeping, and to partner with the business to develop new tools and efficiencies.  This opening is for an experienced hire as it requires not just completing existing processes, but also developing them internally. 

This role is a good fit for someone who wants to apply their existing knowledge and to have an ownership mentality in a great company. They should have a track-record of accurate financial reporting and bookkeeping, ideally in physical products e-commerce businesses.

Key Metrics and What Success Looks Like

1. Accurate and timely reporting of all financial statements BS, PL, Cash Flow
2. Accurate and timely reporting of all managerial financials – KPIs, incentives, dashboards, etc.
3. Deep understanding of financial data across sales channels and reporting tools, allowing for accurate and timely ad hoc requests

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Demonstrated ability to use processes to achieve complete and accurate financials per GAAP
2. QBO experience
3. Ability to work with self-direction
4. Excellent analytical and time-management skills
5. 4+ years accounting experience
6. Be able to work privately during business hours. (you will be accessing confidential and personnel financial information).

Other Skills and Qualifications (not required but helpful)

1. CPA/chartered accountant or bookkeeping certificate
2. Business database / warehouse creation for reporting 
3. QBO Proadvisor certified
   
    

Location

1. The business is USA-based but 90% of the team in the Philippines. This position is online, and therefore can be done remotely from home. Reliable, fast internet with backup is required. We will be conducting interview video meetings on google.
2. Work is expected to be full time and hours per week will vary based on recurring and non-recurring activity. We have mandatory 4 hours per day overlap with morning EST (7-11) for team discussion and meeting. Other 4 hours would be according to your desired schedule
   
    

Compensation and Benefits

1. 30 day paid trial period at 60% pay followed by full time salaried position at full pay.
2. Salary based on experience: range $900 - $1200 monthly based on experience
3. Monthly profit share bonus based on business profits, after first year based on achieving target metrics. Recent bonuses have been in the $200-$400 per month range, but it varies by season and business results
4. 120 hours paid time off per year, accrued based on hours worked
5. 13th month after first full year of employment (for Philippines employees only)
6. Additional Holidays - Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, New Years Eve & New Years Day
7. Preventative and Catastrophic Health Insurance after first 90 days of work, including spouse and children
