Project Focus:
You will be a core developer on our platform designed to automate the creation of online courses and audiobooks. This involves integrating various AI APIs (like OpenAI, Anthropic, MistralAI, ElevenLabs), processing multimedia content (video, audio, PDFs), and building robust backend services using Python. The project utilizes Firebase for content delivery to our Flutter mobile app and admin interfaces, runs in Docker containers, and is deployed on Render.

Job Summary:
We're looking for a skilled Python Developer passionate about automation, AI, and building impactful educational tools. You'll design, develop, and maintain the backend systems and automation pipelines for our course and audiobook creation platform. Success in this role requires strong Python skills, experience integrating diverse APIs and libraries (especially AI and multimedia), and proficiency with AI coding assistants like Cursor within a structured, planned development process.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based backend services and automation workflows using FastAPI, LangChain, and other relevant libraries.
Integrate and manage various third-party AI APIs for tasks like text generation, voice synthesis, and potentially video elements.
Implement and manage content processing pipelines involving video (MoviePy), audio (pydub, ElevenLabs), PDFs (PyPDF2, pdf2image), and text/HTML (BeautifulSoup).
Contribute to the design and potentially interact with our Firebase backend for content management and delivery.
Work with Docker for containerization and manage deployments on Render.
Actively use AI coding assistants, particularly Cursor, to enhance productivity, ensure code quality, and accelerate development cycles, following our planning and general guidelines.
Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested Python code.
Collaborate with the team on planning, design, and code reviews.
Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and reliability.

Required Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Python and its ecosystem.
Proven experience developing backend services, preferably with FastAPI or a similar asynchronous framework.
Experience integrating third-party APIs, particularly AI services (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, MistralAI).
Experience with LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks for AI applications.
Demonstrable experience and high proficiency using AI-powered coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) within a structured development process.
Familiarity with data/file processing libraries (e.g., handling PDFs, audio, video).
Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Understanding of software development best practices, including testing, documentation, and security.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Functions, Authentication).
Experience with Flutter development.
Experience with video processing libraries like MoviePy.
Experience with audio processing libraries like pydub and text-to-speech APIs like ElevenLabs.
Experience with Docker and deploying applications to cloud platforms like Render or similar (Heroku, AWS, GCP).
Experience working in the EdTech domain.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
