Cashflow App Developer

We are hiring for a Cashflow App Developer to create and quickly deliver a working MVP cashflow tool for the company.

The Challenge

We want to better manage, analyze, and forecast cash flow in the company that is tailor - fitted to the needs and wants of the company.

Early Success Milestones for this role

Develop and launch a fast, functional Minimum Viable Product (MVP) version of the cashflow management tool that enables real-time tracking of cash inflows and outflows.

Your Team When You Join Us

You will be working directly with our Bookkeeper and Accounting team for the end - user requirements of the tool and with our IT team for the technical side.

 

We would love to hear from you if…

• Have hands-on experience in building and deploying cashflow management tools or financial planning applications—from MVP to production-ready solutions.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, including cash inflow/outflow tracking, forecasting, reconciliation, and dashboard reporting.
• Programming Languages:
  • Proficient in Python and C++ for backend logic, data processing, and performance optimization
  • Frontend/Backend Development: Experience with Node.js for building scalable server-side applications and integrating with various data sources.
  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Skilled in Power BI and Excel for creating financial dashboards, dynamic reports, and scenario modeling.
  • Integration Experience: Familiar with integrating tools with accounting systems, payment gateways, and third-party APIs for real-time financial data.
• Ability to work independently in a short-term, high-impact role, delivering functional tools under tight timelines.
• Previous project management experience is ideal

Let’s Set Expectations First
 

• This is not a salaried position. This is short-term Independent Contractor role.
• If hired, you must be able to commit at least 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week while the project is ongoing. Fully flexible working schedule.
• We require everybody in the team to use Hubstaff to track hours worked.

Compensation

We pay on an hourly basis and is open to receiving your proposed rates. We hire based on skills and experience.

Location

If you are based in the Netherlands, we would love for you to visit our office every Monday or so for a face - to - face meeting. However, we are open to hiring remotely too.
