Job Opening: Architectural Assistant (NYC DOB Experience Required)

We are currently hiring an Architectural Assistant on behalf of a real estate client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) across all five boroughs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and submission of DOB filings and permit applications
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure compliance with NYC building codes and regulations
• Track the progress of applications and address any DOB-related issues or corrections
• Support project documentation, drawing revisions, and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience navigating NYC DOB procedures and requirements
• Familiarity with zoning codes, filing processes (including eFiling and DOB NOW), and permit types
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with city agencies and internal teams
