UI/SaaS Motion Designer (Agency Role)

We are a dynamic digital creative agency (videovaas.com) seeking a talented and versatile Motion Graphics Designer to join our team, either on a freelance or long term contract basis. While the ideal candidate possesses a specialized skillset in creating polished UI/SaaS product videos, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from brand identity animations and explainer videos to social media content and title sequences.


You will be a key player in our video production pipeline, responsible for bringing diverse client projects to life through stunning and engaging motion design. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for crafting pixel-perfect, narrative-driven videos for various industries.

We are prepared to offer a competitive salary of up to $1,500/month, depending on experience and the scope of work.

Key Responsibilities:

Specialized UI/SaaS Motion Design: Take provided UI designs from our clients (primarily in Figma) and create clean, professional, and dynamic product videos, animating UI components from scratch.

Diverse Project Execution: Work on a variety of other motion graphics projects for our clients, adapting your style and skills to different creative briefs and brand guidelines.

Figma to After Effects Workflow: Efficiently transfer and animate UI assets and components from Figma into Adobe After Effects.

Narrative Animation: Translate static designs into compelling animated stories that highlight key features, brand messages, or concepts.

Motion Design & Brand Adaptation: Apply a deep understanding of animation principles (timing, easing, staging) to create animations that align with each client's specific brand identity.

Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure the final video meets the client's vision and our agency's quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven expertise in Adobe After Effects is essential.

Advanced proficiency in Figma and a demonstrated ability to efficiently work with design files and assets, particularly for UI/SaaS video projects.

A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing your UI motion graphics, SaaS product videos, and other creative motion work for different brands. Your portfolio must demonstrate your ability to animate from design files.

Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for typography, color, and visual hierarchy.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in an agency setting.

Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude for client-facing projects.
