Senior Frontend Developer - Remote (PH)

Client Industry/Details: Insurance technology platform for digital policy management and claims.

Our client is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer to build and maintain user interfaces for a large, established SaaS platform.

The role is primarily focused on HTML, CSS, modern JavaScript, and jQuery. Candidates should be comfortable working within an existing codebase, following established development standards, and collaborating closely with senior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, modern JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Maintain and improve features within a large enterprise SaaS application.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable frontend code.
• Troubleshoot bugs and account for errors and edge cases.
• Participate in peer code reviews and follow established coding standards.
• Clarify requirements with senior developers before implementation.
• Communicate progress clearly during stand-ups and through project management tools.

Required Experience:

• At least five years of overall frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
• Recent hands-on jQuery experience, ideally within the past two to three years.
• Experience working with large, existing codebases.
• Experience developing multi-tenant SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, source control, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Desirable Experience:

• Basic knowledge of MS SQL and stored procedures.
• Experience with Visual Studio.
• Exposure to Azure-hosted applications.
• Experience within insurance, fintech, or another regulated industry.
• Familiarity with Twilio or similar communication APIs.
