Position Overview
We are looking for a creative, and highly skilled Video Editor who can create fun, engaging, and thumb-stopping social media content. You should know how to make ads that perform and how to make content that captures attention. In this critical role, you’ll help elevate Chamelo’s brand and digital presence, working with a team that’s passionate about pushing the boundaries. A talented editor will be able to move their way up in the creative team and work directly with international celebrities.

Role Description
We’re looking for a creative Video Editor who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work on engaging, thumb-stopping video content for social media, with a keen understanding of trends and an ability to bring fresh ideas to the table. You should have a passion for storytelling and be able to create content that aligns with Chamelo’s branding and goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Edit and produce social media videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
2. Stay on top of the latest trends in video editing and social media.
3. Work with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and strategies.
4. Create compelling, high-quality video content that engages and inspires audiences.
5. Ensure all video content aligns with Chamelo's tone and brand guidelines.
6. Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to create videos that resonate with Chamelo’s audience.
7. Keep up with the ever-evolving social media landscape and bring fresh ideas to the team.
8. Optimize video content for social platforms and ensure timely delivery.

Required Qualifications

1. Proven experience in video editing, particularly for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, etc.).
2. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
3. A creative mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit.
4. Fast learner who’s willing to adapt and stay ahead of trends.
5. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
6. Ability to work independently and be proactive.
7. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
8. Fast internet connection.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience working with Shopify, Klaviyo, or WordPress is a plus.
2. Experience with social media marketing and creating content that drives engagement.
