The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for the company. This includes reconciling bank statements, preparing and recording transactions, and producing financial reports. The Bookkeeper will work closely with the accounting team to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Reconcile bank statements and accounts on a regular basis.
Prepare and record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and payments.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare and distribute financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and standards.
Provide support to the accounting team as needed.
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Good understanding of financial reporting requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in QuickBooks or another accounting software program.
Education and Experience:
Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience as a bookkeeper required.
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday.
