We are currently looking for Daily Briefings Broadcast Editors that creates accurate and concise summaries of assigned broadcast (radio and TV) and/or editorial content each day tailored to the clientís requirements, and the proposed audience, in order to ensure the briefing is meeting its intended purpose and highlighting the most critical and relevant coverage for the client on any given day.
Job Descriptions:
Creation of Daily Briefing Broadcast Summaries
Listen and view assigned broadcast content (TV and Radio) and create concise summaries within required time thresholds.
Ensure summaries reflect the essence of the broadcast item, capturing any client-relevant aspects, based on information provided from managers and the Daily Briefing's clientís specific requirements.
Ensure relevant detail is included so each summary can be read in isolation without requiring context from preceding or following summaries.
Ensure client knowledge on summary requirements is kept up to date by checking relevant information in Broadcast NewsDesk and via e-mails from sales and operations teams.
Ensure grammatical and style parameters are met in each summary.
Alert immediate manager to any issues with summary content.

Ensures content is selected on relevance and relevant detail is included so each summary can be read in isolation without requiring context from preceding or the following content.
Ensure summaries reflect the essence of the broadcast item, capturing any client-relevant aspects, based on information provided from managers and Client feedback.
Alert manager to any issues or conflicts on assigned briefings to ensure efficiency is maximized
Suggest improvements or changes to the process to improve efficiency where possible
Alert manager to any time you may have available within your scheduled work shift to assist with other tasks, day-to-day
Ensures they are abreast of the clientís requirements and any updates as required and maintains relevant industry knowledge of what is affecting relevant Daily Briefings clients
Ensure Daily Briefings timeliness targets are consistently met
Complete assigned schedule of Daily Briefings each day
Alert immediate manager to any issues with briefings production or possible delays.
Ensuring relevant Daily Briefings meet quality and timeliness standards
Ensure any problems/issues that may delay monitoring of clientís broadcast content on time are raised with the relevant manager as soon as possible to avoid delays
Maintain a solid understanding of Mediaportal and internal systems to ensure efficient Daily Briefings production
Communicate any delays to Team Leader in a thorough and timely manner
Maintain strong client focus
Responds to feedback and returns. Implements changes/updates as required.
Maintain knowledge of Isentia client base through the Daily Briefings guidelines and internal communication methods.
Displays and maintains a sound understanding of Isentia client base expectations
Take an active role in building team knowledge of client briefs and expectations
Attend all team meetings as required
Job Qualifications:
Candidates must be a College Graduate in Bachelor of Mass Communication, Journalism, Broadcast Communication, International Studies, English, or any related courses.
Has 2 years or more of working experience in word processing and/or data entry preferred and has experience in delivering to strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
Has experience in adapting to constantly changing work environments.
Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint) and G-Suite.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Excellent written English language skills with a strong focus on spelling and grammar.
Can start as soon as possible.
